Experienced Leadership for a Smooth Transition in Brome Lake

Brome Lake, September 2, 2025 – As the November 2 election approaches, mayoral candidate Lee Patterson today unveils his priority commitments. With 12 years of municipal experience, he pledges to transform the City's strategic planning, resulting from extensive citizen consultation, into concrete achievements from the beginning of his mandate.

"The time for consultations is over, the time for action has arrived," declared Lee Patterson. "More than 1,300 citizens have contributed to building our roadmap. If elected on November 2, my duty will be to implement it without delay. Stability and continuity are essential to achieve this, and I'm committed to delivering the results our community deserves."

Lee Patterson's commitments are structured around key projects:

1. Promote gentle densification: Address our housing needs and review our renovation and construction regulations to protect our architectural heritage.
2. Ensure safety on our roads: Strengthen speed control and mobilize the necessary authorities so that Brome Lake is included in the Quebec government's pilot project for speed cameras in school zones.
3. Protect our environment: Actively continue efforts for Lake Brome's health and implement new measures to protect our natural spaces.
4. Complete our key infrastructure projects: Launch the implementation of the Main Street overhaul. This project will include a complete review of road infrastructure and an assessment of the possibility of burying Hydro-Quebec wires on the commercial artery.
5. Continue supporting our city's key partners: Provide sustained support to the Museum, library, and theater, and encourage our artist community's participation in municipal life, while recognizing and supporting volunteerism and community organizations.

A native of Brome Lake and deeply rooted in his community, Lee Patterson possesses the mastery of files and field knowledge necessary to lead. His professional background in management and long-standing involvement in various local organizations attest to this.
